Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage
- Provide meat products to members by processing meat (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management, and operate/maintain/sanitize equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and use handheld technology for immediate business decisions with member in mind; adapt to and encourage use of new tools
- Drive business results, commit to operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work area per policies, ensure quality/standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile/high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage
- Act as advocate for department/club, value member's experience, model high-quality service/products, execute basics at highest quality level, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist/train them on job-related duties
- Implement company policies/procedures/ethics action plans, use Open Door Policy, and apply in business processes
- Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with managers/co-workers/customers/partners, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/difficulties/feedback
