Requirements

  • Professional finance qualification such as CFA, FRM, CAIA, ACA or equivalent (CPA / ACCA) with proven post-qualification experience in Treasury Risks
  • Detailed knowledge of Treasury concepts including Market, Liquidity, Credit Risks, and FX Management
  • Experience leading and managing teams, preferably within Financial services
  • Significant experience in SOX requirements, including testing of controls and remediating control weaknesses
  • Proactive and hands-on approach ("roll up your sleeves") to solve problems and take responsibility
  • Commercial acumen with a balanced approach to risk and controls to support business growth
  • Collaborative, able to work well in a multinational team environment and influence through others
  • Keen to learn and develop knowledge of FinTech and fast-growing scale-up operations

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the project to build end-to-end views of the control environment illustrating key risks, controls, and processes from a SOX perspective impacting group Treasury Functions
  • Understand and guide teams on implementation of US SOX and other relevant local regulations
  • Assist in building a testing programme to independently assess controls, identify gaps, and implement remediation plans
  • Support and challenge Treasury teams to evolve and mature the risk and control environment
  • Partner with finance and non-finance teams to address risks and controls related to Treasury
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (finance teams, Risk, Internal Audit) to establish standards, policies, and develop KRIs for continuous risk measurement and monitoring
