Requirements

  • Skills in developing strategies for item-level serialization to support business capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, merchandising, technology, operations, brands, supplier operations)
  • Ability to manage RFID tagging projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Experience driving concurrent program activities across multiple projects with attention to strategy, collaboration, and implementation
  • Skills in shaping strategies, driving executional clarity (why, when, how, who), creating alignment, prioritization, and coordination across stakeholders
  • Partnerships with industry experts, vendors, and other retailers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the program team
  • Research and identify relevant RFID tagging standards – current and future (e.g., GS1, EPC)
  • Develop and document RFID tagging strategies, standards, and procedures tailored to the organization's needs
  • Ensure consistent application of standards across departments and locations
  • Work with stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for RFID tagging initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in RFID tags and systems
  • Promote interoperability between different RFID systems and data sources
  • Monitor and address data quality issues and discrepancies
  • Develop and support merchandise vendor education on RFID tagging standards and procedures
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of RFID tagging initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve RFID tagging processes and workflows
  • Stay up to date with the latest RFID technologies and standards
  • Develop strategies to evolve item-level serialization to support business capabilities like item-level accuracy and shrink reduction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve serialization processes and outcomes
  • Manage RFID tagging projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Oversee strategy for RFID and serialization standards
  • Work with Brands to support their understanding of requirements
  • Partner with Supplier Operations to drive compliance and high adoption of tagging
  • Develop partnerships with industry experts, vendors, and other retailers for evolving technology insights
