Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Audit, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a people management role
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with inventory accounting topics
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
  • Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems
  • SAP experience
  • Additional language skills (Polish or Dutch)

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical accounting for key inventory topics including Gross Inventory, GRNI/GIT, E&O reserves, Costing/Revaluation, UPI, PPV, and Loaner Instrumentation
  • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations across divisions and systems
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls related to inventory valuation and reporting
  • Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, setting objectives and conducting performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Divisional Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Finance Service Centers to align accounting practices
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX-related activities, and ensure documentation meets audit standards
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to system implementations, transitions, and integrations
  • Provide strategic input for forecasting and planning processes within the Inventory COE
