Candidates should possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field, along with expert-level proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and expert-level proficiency in C++. Demonstrated research publications in top conferences are preferred.
The Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer will develop an in-house simulation data engine using object and lane-based closed-loop re-simulation, research and implement state-of-the-art synthetic sensor simulation methods, collaborate with suppliers or develop in-house tools for the next-generation data-based simulation stack, integrate simulation with the software stack, and collaborate with stakeholders across autonomy to enable the development of an ML-based autonomy stack.
