Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a job related to engineering or machine learning. Experience should include proficiency in Python, Numpy, Databricks, AWS ECR+EKS, ML Ops & Maintenance and AWS, Distributed Version Control Systems (git), and the ability to gather requirements and deliver technical projects of medium scope and moderate uncertainty.

Responsibilities

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will develop, code, and test programs and systems to meet defined specifications, build scalable software solutions, implement new technologies, manage existing platforms, and design applications leveraging prediction models and optimization programs. They will also analyze data to uncover insights, clean and prepare data for analysis, track model accuracy and performance, apply machine learning methods, build APIs and software libraries, and contribute to core analytics and machine learning platforms. Furthermore, they will assess problems, lead the development of technical solutions, embrace Nike’s core values, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
