Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Systems Administrator or IT Support role
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience managing an Okta environment, including application integrations and user lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, SCIM, OIDC, and MFA
  • Proficiency in supporting both Windows and macOS environments
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end user lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes within Okta
  • Configure and maintain application integrations using SAML, SCIM, and OIDC protocols
  • Administer Universal Directory, group policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies to enhance security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Okta-related issues, such as login failures, application access problems, and MFA challenges
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for Okta processes and configurations
  • Serve as a point of contact for IT support requests, providing timely, empathetic, and clear communication to end-users
  • Own the end-to-end IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning, user account creation, system access management, and in person onboarding to ensure a seamless new hire experience
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for company-provided laptops (Mac/PC), peripherals, and other office equipment
  • Provide administration and support for our suite of SaaS applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Notion and many others)
  • Assist in the deployment and management of employee workstations and software
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate processes and improve the end-user experience
  • Stay current with emerging Okta features, security best practices, and IT industry trends
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team on projects and initiatives
