Requirements

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience developing iOS applications or equivalent education. Fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C is required, along with experience developing integrations with RESTful APIs and proficiency with Git. A basic understanding of Figma is necessary, including the ability to determine spacing and sizing, and bonus skills include exporting icons and understanding variables. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to write readable, maintainable, documented, and thoroughly tested code, as well as effectively translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into code implementations.

Responsibilities

The Senior iOS Engineer will design and implement cutting-edge features to enhance the performance, quality, and creativity of the Cantina app. They will lead the development of new features, collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Design, and QA teams, and participate in Architecture meetings to ensure the app meets high-quality standards. Additionally, they will create scalable and reusable components that can be modified without affecting unrelated views and will evaluate and communicate engineering solutions and trade-offs to teammates and non-technical teams.
