Candidates should possess proven impact building new and/or refactoring existing large-scale customer-facing products, a strong product and business mindset, and relevant experience in iOS development within companies requiring a strong product mindset. They must also demonstrate the ability to choose the right tools, learn new technologies, manage risks, and propose efficient solutions, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented, functional, and declarative paradigms, design patterns, and architectures like MVVM/MVI and DI. Furthermore, experience with TCA and composable, modular UI architectures is essential, as is the capacity to craft clean, maintainable code and advocate for design for testability and automated tests.
The Senior IOS Engineer will shape and co-own the codebase of a greenfield product as part of a cross-functional team, driving the translation of user needs into solutions from product discovery to production support. They will also drive the design and development of a greenfield mobile app, contribute significantly to system design, serve as a trusted partner for product, design, data, and other teams, support the growth of their team and colleagues, collaborate with other engineers to push the boundary of technical excellence, implement cool ideas, and have an impact on millions of users while maintaining ownership of the product.
