Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in mobile free-to-play games, with a preference for midcore titles. A minimum of 3 years of Unity experience is required, including asset implementation and UI assembly. Proficiency in AI tools for 2D, 3D, and video workflows, as well as high proficiency in Figma, is expected. The role also requires strong English communication skills (B2+) and a product-minded approach, with experience working directly with a publisher or in a startup environment being advantageous. Experience with animation or VFX implementation and C# fluency for Unity are considered nice-to-have qualifications.
The Senior Game Artist will create final assets that are implemented directly into Unity, requiring no or minimal rework. They will generate hypotheses and ideas from a player's perspective and monetization lens, proposing them based on game direction. Responsibilities include making constant small improvements in live games, self-creating tasks in Asana, and challenging, improving, and implementing UI/UX designs. The artist is expected to take initiative, own their work, and proactively contribute to the game development process, including coding when possible.
