Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Position Overview:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own the design and implementation of cloud applications for Silver Peak's SD-WAN offering. Our mission-critical cloud applications support industry-leading visibility and control solutions, enterprise and service provider software licensing, and cloud-managed orchestration. This role involves direct development responsibilities and participation in architectural, technology, and productivity tool selection decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support scalable and reliable new features for Orchestrator/Edge Connect applications, enabling centralized management of SD-WAN enabled networks.
• Design and implement rich and intuitive configurations and monitoring user interfaces using React.js.
• Design and develop REST APIs using Node.js / Java Jetty.
• Implement highly unit-testable code structures and write test cases using Mocha.
• Contribute to technical components of HPE/Aruba products, solutions, or services with advanced subject matter knowledge.
• Provide expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams, potentially participating in cross-functional initiatives.
• Exercise significant independent judgment to determine the best methods for achieving objectives.
• Potentially provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems/Applications.
• Recent experience in React, JavaScript.
• Experience in NodeJS and Java based web development.
• Recent experience with developing web applications for cloud deployments.
• Proven track record of developing database applications using SQL and NoSQL.
• Fundamental knowledge in networking concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete ownership, problem-solving skills, and tremendous self-drive.
• Well-versed in Linux systems.
• REST API experience is a plus.
