Requirements

2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on web development at scale
Proven track record leading complex cross-stack features from architecture through launch and iteration
Deep expertise in React, Next.js, Tailwind, and modern web technologies (TypeScript, Vercel, etc.), with strong intuition for performance and DX trade-offs
Strong proficiency in some backend frameworks (examples include FastAPI, Flask, Django, Express) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy or equivalent) for schema design, migrations, and modeling
Familiarity with modern testing practices (unit with Jest, integration/E2E with Playwright, visual regression with Storybook) and CI/CD automation
Effective communicator: able to translate technical tradeoffs into business impact for PMs, Designers, and Execs
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams

Responsibilities

Lead planning, estimation, implementation, testing, and support for features spanning our web application, backend services, and supporting infrastructure (End-to-End Web Feature Delivery)
Build and maintain high-performance, maintainable web experiences in React/Next.js with Tailwind, ensuring strong test coverage, accessibility, and performance across devices (Web Client Development)
Design, build, and operate secure, compliant payment flows and integrations at scale; proactively identify risks and drive roadmap improvements (Payment Infrastructure Leadership)
Embed testing at every layer (unit, integration, end-to-end); advocate for and implement observability best practices; help lead incident response and post-mortem processes (Quality, Reliability & Observability)
Mentor teammates, review code with an eye toward long-term maintainability, and help set engineering standards and best practices for the web stack (Technical Leadership)
