Position Overview

Join one of our tight-knit, cross-functional Product Engineering teams as an expert contributor. You will expand the value of the Stensul platform for world-class customers by implementing high-quality solutions that meet demanding expectations. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with Product, Design, and QA experts to discover and solve new market opportunities in an agile manner. You will contribute to technical discussions and decisions, elevating our software development practices, and serve as a coach and mentor to other developers.

Responsibilities

• Elaborate and build effective solutions using roughly defined requirements and the product vision.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team (Engineering, Product, Design, QA) to achieve synergy, understand user needs, and deliver exceptional features.
• Participate and contribute to architectural and system design discussions and decisions.
• Design, implement, and maintain improvements to the platform's functionality.
• Write high-quality, standardized, concise, and maintainable code.
• Track down and fix bugs.
• Adhere to and contribute to the improvement of our agile methodology.
• Own and lead initiatives autonomously from inception to delivery and maintenance.
• Proactively contribute positive energy to our rapidly growing company.
• Help, coach, and mentor fellow team members in their daily tasks and professional development.

Requirements

• Excellent Javascript programming skills.
• Excellent Frameworks/Libraries skills (Vue.js preferably, Angular, React).
• Extensive knowledge of server-side oriented languages (PHP, Python, Golang, Node.js).
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 web application development.
• Experience using design patterns.
• Excellent OOP knowledge.
• Knowledge of web architectures, services, and APIs concepts.
• Experience with version control (Git, Subversion).
• Ability to work effectively in an agile and team environment; a true team player.
• Solid English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in quality practices such as unit test implementation.
• Strong testing skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interest in understanding our customers, market, and product to contribute new ideas.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Sass/LESS preprocessors, Webpack bundler, and other Javascript-related technologies.
• Experience with Typescript and/or other type-checking technologies.
