Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Over 5 years programming experience in Java 1.8, NodeJS, J2EE, Spring Framework 4.x (Core, MVC, REST, HATEOAS), Microservices, Swagger, Junit, Mockito, Hibernate, and Apache Camel
  • Experience in JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser development
  • Hands-on experience developing end-to-end applications requiring both UI and API development
  • Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven, Ant, or Gradle
  • Hands-on experience with IDEs like Eclipse or Visual Studio
  • Excellent debugging and coding skills
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles like SOLID, Singleton, Dependency Injection
  • Understanding of REST API development using Spring or another framework
  • Experience developing responsive applications integrated with REST APIs
  • Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or IBM Bluemix (advantageous)
  • Experience with code integration repositories like GIT and Agile development practices
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, and automation testing (desirable)
  • Experience implementing high-performance, reusable application development
  • Effective communication skills as a team member
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, works well in a global team environment
  • Valid indefinite USA Work Permit
  • Ability to work onsite at the DXC Office
