Senior Front-End Engineer

Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote (Travel required once per quarter)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $110,000 - $165,000 (plus equity, benefits)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying front-end applications that process vast amounts of data daily from millions of devices. You will contribute to the product vision, collaborate with Product Management and Design to build exceptional user experiences, and tackle complex problems with cutting-edge technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to build and deploy best-in-class web app observability tools for mobile teams.
• Coach and support global teammates on complex technical challenges.
• Enhance code quality, develop test cases, and optimize application performance.
• Work with the Customer Success team to integrate customer feedback into technical designs and solutions.
• Implement and refine engineering best practices for a growing codebase used by leading mobile companies.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Typescript.
  • Strong experience with React.
  • Strong advocacy for test automation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with performance optimization and web application design.
  • Solid engineering, coding, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional experience using Git.
  • Enjoy working in an agile environment and thrive in a fast-paced remote setting.
  • Ability to travel approximately once per quarter to meet team members.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building web-based data analysis and insights tools, including designing intuitive interfaces for data exploration and visualization.
  • Experience with web RUM or web observability platforms.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry.
  • High competency and low ego; passion for helping others.
  • Experience with side projects or open-source projects.
  • Reside anywhere in the US or Canada.
  • A passion for Star Wars or Star Trek.
