Requirements

  • CPA designation (or CFE with practical experience in progress)
  • Strong technical accounting skills across both analysis and day-to-day accounting
  • Practical experience applying IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
  • Experience in tech, SaaS, or AI environments
  • Solid audit and assurance experience
  • Eagerness to contribute to a growing, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close activities, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Manage the financial close calendar and drive accurate, timely reporting
  • Perform variance, sensitivity, and trend analyses that support informed decision-making across the business
  • Support first-time IFRS adoption including analysis application of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 to complex revenue and lease arrangements
  • Oversee AP and AR operations with accuracy and efficiency, while assisting with treasury management
  • Support general ledger integrity and identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and financial data quality
  • Serve as a key contact for external auditors and support first-time IFRS audit requirements
  • Contribute to building an internal controls matrix and developing internal audit procedures
  • Strengthen financial compliance and risk mitigation across the organization, ensuring readiness as we scale
  • Contribute to strategic projects spanning process optimization, system enhancements, and implementation of automation and AI-driven tools within finance
