Requirements

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Minimum experience of 4-5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience including areas on financial accounting, reporting and statutory

Responsibilities

  • Participate in month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity’s results
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review journal entries
  • Execute internal controls in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework
  • Perform variances analysis
  • Provide Record to Report support, ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Resolve general accounting and reporting issues
  • Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations where required
  • Liaise with stakeholders on Balance Sheet Reconciliations, specifically open items
  • Ensure compliance with Finance Hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements
  • Attend to and resolve stakeholders queries in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner
  • Support Finance Analyst for general accounting and reporting issues (e.g., cycle, fixed asset, payroll, etc.)
  • Support execution of month-end close in accordance with month-end close checklist
  • Handle inventory adjustment and reconciliation
  • Prepare T&E reports
  • Prepare accruals and provisions
  • Follow up with shoppers on Open PO
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Finance Business Partner, Sales and Marketing team) and other functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close
  • Handle financial reporting for designated legal entities
  • Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, cost center checks, and transaction posting checks
  • Be knowledgeable on principal activities of each designated legal entity
  • Prepare any other required financial reports
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to analyst members within the team
  • Support new and existing team members through knowledge transfer, sharing resources, knowledge, experience, and best practices to maintain quality during staff transitions
  • Work with Global Process Owner or Process Improvement Experts (PIE’s) to standardize close and control activities
  • Update changes to LSOP’s and/or work instructions documentation when required
  • Assist in preparation of training materials when required
  • Support dividend payment process and related cashflow analysis/projection
  • Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by BSC management and changing business environment
