Requirements

12+ years of professional software development experience with an understanding of best practices
6+ years experience as a Software Engineering Manager, with experience managing managers, leading teams owning high-scale production services
Bachelor's/Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study
Fluent in Java, Scala, or other modern software development language
Proven expertise in authentication & authorization systems, building and operating micro services at enterprise scale
Hands-on experience with security best practices and compliance requirements
Experience driving effective execution with agile processes in a highly dynamic environment
Strategic leadership experience defining technical vision, roadmaps, and organizational direction
Strong communicator, able to build a compelling vision for their team
Proven track record developing and mentoring engineers and engineering managers
Experience managing team’s on-call rotation to ensure timely and effective incident response, actively participate in escalated on-call incidents to provide leadership and support, and drive improvements by addressing recurring issues to minimize disruptions
Must speak English proficiently
