Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Embedded SW design in ARM-based processors for Linux-based platforms
  • 3+ years of experience with coding in C, C++ and shell scripting
  • Working experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration and networking (e.g., TCP/IP)
  • Familiarity with I2C/SPI protocols
  • Familiarity with ARM processors
  • Familiarity with Xilinx development tools for embedded SW (Petalinux)
  • Working experience in operating, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability for changes
  • B.Sc./M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Advantage: Cellular network environment experience
  • Advantage: Knowledge of RF concepts
  • Advantage: Working experience in Docker

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the next-generation 5G radio products for the growing cellular market
  • Develop SW development infrastructure services and SW applications required by proprietary software inside Radio Unit products
  • Work in a collaborative environment, cooperating closely with HW, FPGA, and system design engineers
  • Translate communication standards/specifications into efficient implementation
  • Design, document, implement, debug and unit test software components of a multi-threaded real-time/embedded system
  • Use experience in C/C++ development in the context of embedded systems
  • Apply practical experience and knowledge of Linux architecture and Kernel drivers
