Responsibilities

  • Contributing critically to the selection of the journal content
  • Identifying experts to act as peer reviewers on selected submissions
  • Writing editorials, organizing peer review of research articles and reviews, and conducting webinars and podcasts with authors and key opinion leaders
  • Commissioning content to build the journal’s profile among the communities served and handling special project content (e.g., Series and Commissions) as necessary
  • Developing and maintaining links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research and thought leadership for the journal
  • Attending conferences and events, identifying suitable topics and authors, and keeping up-to-date with current developments in regional health
