Requirements

Relevant qualifications in clinical or biomedical science, public health, global health, or related fields. A medical degree (MD) or a PhD and post-doc research experience in a relevant discipline is an added advantage

Responsibilities

Contributing critically to the selection of the journal content
Identifying experts to act as peer reviewers on selected submissions
Writing editorials, organizing peer review of research articles and reviews, and conducting webinars and podcasts with authors and key opinion leaders
Commissioning content to build our journal’s profile among the communities we serve and handling special project content (e.g. Series and Commissions) as necessary
Developing and maintaining links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research and thought leadership for the journal
Attending conferences and events, identifying suitable topics and authors, and keeping up-to-date with current developments in regional health
