Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or earlier) and D365 Finance implementations
  • Strong knowledge of financial modules: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Intercompany, Consolidations, Management Reporter, and Banking
  • Proven experience in leading full life-cycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance, including data migration and third-party integrations
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, global taxation rules, and multi-company financial consolidation practices
  • Proficient in creating and interpreting functional documentation such as FDDs and business process flows
  • Demonstrated ability to estimate, scope, and define consulting engagements effectively
  • Deep experience with integration frameworks (AIF, Enterprise Portal, Workflows, and reporting)
  • Ability to clearly articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders
  • Strong consulting skills and a proven track record of successful client engagements
  • Prior experience working with international clients (MEA) preferred
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with other ERP Finance modules (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Nice to have: Exposure to Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft Dataverse
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax, Intercompany, Consolidations, etc.)
  • Conduct end-to-end functional analysis, including fit-gap assessments, requirement gathering, process mapping, and FDD creation
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality Dynamics 365 Finance solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that drive business value quickly
  • Oversee system testing, UAT, training, go-live, and post-go-live support for Dynamics 365 Finance implementations
  • Ensure high-quality solution delivery through adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies
  • Support integration efforts between D365 and other enterprise systems using tools like AIF, custom services, or external APIs
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and ensure alignment with architectural standards
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution design, configurations, and user manuals
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, problem-solving, and delivering consistent value
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices, including delivery methodologies and internal frameworks
