Fullscript is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Engineering Team. We are building a platform that connects healthcare practitioners and patients, delivering evidence-based health solutions and diagnostic support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve feature development on the Fullscript platform.
• Create detailed API documentation to enable third-party developers to easily integrate with our platform.
• Build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the business.
• Review pull requests, mentor, and advocate for high-quality code.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining features.
• Scope and plan projects and collaborate with other developers (front-end and back-end) to implement them.
• Provide input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions.
• Perform other duties as determined by the company from time to time.

Requirements

• Passionate software engineer who cares about their craft.
• Excited to learn, lead projects, and produce the best work possible.
• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next, or similar).
• Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, as well as CSS preprocessors.
• Proficiency in writing tests and understanding their value.
• Desire to learn and openness to feedback.
• Understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.
