Requirements

  • Completing or recently completed a Master's degree in data science or a related field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics
  • Demonstrable experience working with real-world datasets
  • Proficiency in Python and its packages: NumPy, Pandas, Sci-kit Learn, PyTorch, and Matplotlib
  • Good understanding of various machine learning models and statistical techniques
  • Positive attitude and a good dose of natural curiosity, with a desire to ask questions and analyze data

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of machine learning/deep learning to solve critical business problems and create AI products in a dynamic, fast-evolving work environment
  • Lead machine learning projects involving frequent and proactive collaboration with teams (product, marketing, engineering, etc.) with minimal supervision
  • Work with a rich database that will push creativity in engineering new models with direct business impact
  • Write concise and modular code that handles data cleaning, EDA, and statistical or machine learning modeling
  • Provide constructive feedback on team deliverables, workflows, and our technology stack to improve work quality
  • Contribute to building a data science community by sharing ideas on data science opportunities, presenting at sprint demos, and representing Mistplay at external conferences
