Requirements

5+ years of relevant industry experience (ecommerce, retail, marketplace…)
Good balance of statistical/technical skills, business acumen, and communication skills
Experience partnering with internal teams and senior decision makers to drive decision and action, leveraging data insights; act as an expert and provide direction on analytics
Excellent knowledge of SQL (Python or another coding language is a plus)

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis within our circularity services (Trade-In, Recycling), to tackle operations challenges and identify opportunity areas where Back Market can provide incremental value to sellers and customers
Model and forecast seller and customer behavior to optimize Long Term Value for the company
Analyze and model the optimal pricing strategies which sellers and Back Market can participate in to deliver growth in trade-in device volumes, profitability (for both sellers and Back Market) and customer satisfaction
Explore and recommend new approaches for understanding used device flows, opportunities to continue to grow the circular market and win over new customers and sellers
Be an active contributor to circularity strategy, by thinking beyond immediate analysis to understand the long-term implications of actions and leverage opportunities beyond Circularity scope (supply creation, customer acquisition, etc.)
Collaborate closely with business & top management: supporting their needs, providing tools to ease access to insights, easing performance monitoring, sharing your analysis & recommendations in an impactful way to get their buy-in
