Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Bill of Materials and inventory reconciliations
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with IQMS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) in IQMS to ensure accurate inventory costing at SEC plants
  • Implement the annual cost roll and quarterly commercial costing updates
  • Prepare daily production reports for management and handle ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Accurately prepare journal entries for the month-end close process
  • Reconcile SEC General Ledger inventory accounts with the perpetual inventory records and other supporting documents monthly; investigate and explain variances
  • Monitor key General Ledger accounts daily for potential issues related to production, receiving, and shipping, and conduct monthly account analysis
  • Analyze and adjust the obsolescence reserve on a monthly basis
  • Manage accounting for customer toll accounts
  • Assist with the annual Physical Inventory as required
