Requirements
- College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate actions operations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge in the principles and market practices of Corporate Actions and Income Processing
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work with minimum supervision
- Good PC skills, particularly Excel
- FSA Training & Competence 'Threshold Competent' is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Ensure a strong 'risk and control' culture exists amongst the team such that operational risk is inherently reduced and any potential risk situations are promptly identified and escalated
- Assist staff with technical queries and provide coaching in the research and resolution of complex issues
- Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
- Participate in and contribute to system enhancement projects and oversee process improvement initiatives through to implementation
- Operate independently with in-depth knowledge of business unit/function
- As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and partner at a high technical level
- Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional, and technically difficult
- Liaise with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
