College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience
Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate actions operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong technical knowledge in the principles and market practices of Corporate Actions and Income Processing
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work with minimum supervision
Good PC skills, particularly Excel
FSA Training & Competence 'Threshold Competent' is advantageous
Responsibilities
Ensure a strong 'risk and control' culture exists amongst the team such that operational risk is inherently reduced and any potential risk situations are promptly identified and escalated
Assist staff with technical queries and provide coaching in the research and resolution of complex issues
Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
Participate in and contribute to system enhancement projects and oversee process improvement initiatives through to implementation
Operate independently with in-depth knowledge of business unit/function
As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and partner at a high technical level
Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional, and technically difficult
Liaise with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
