Requirements

  • Experience with .NET-based CMS platforms: Xperience by Kentico, Optio, Umbraco, or Sitecore.
  • .NET Core / C# development experience
  • Azure DevOps & cloud services: (App Services, Logic Apps, B2C, etc.)
  • Front-end knowledge: React, HTML5, SCSS, TypeScript
  • DevOps practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring
  • Security best practices: Understanding of authentication, authorization, and encryption

Responsibilities

  • CMS Configuration and Technical Administration:
    • Configure and maintain the CMS platform.
    • Create and manage user roles for secure access.
    • Apply themes and structural updates.
    • Ensure web security (SSL certificates, security patches, threat monitoring).
    • Ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Utilise tools like Google Analytics: Track site performance, monitor user engagement, and assess content effectiveness.
  • Development and technical enhancements:
    • Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager and stakeholders to scope and implement solutions.
    • Prepare technical documentation.
    • Develop and configure features and integrations.
    • Liaise with vendors and partners.
  • DevOps delivery:
    • Follow processes and industry standards for development and code management.
    • Ensure best practice security controls.
    • Continuously assess capabilities to improve DevOps maturity.
  • Applications and Service Desk Support:
    • Provide application support for products and services (as per SLAs).
    • Provide on-call or after-hours support as needed.
    • Monitor system performance and availability, addressing potential issues.
    • Create and maintain documentation.
