Why This Role is Exciting

AuditBoard is seeking a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a Business Value Architect. This critical client-facing role is integral to our go-to-market organization. You will be responsible for defining strategy, conducting business value analysis, and presenting compelling insights that articulate the value of AuditBoard to our top strategic customers and prospects.

You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing teams on our most strategic accounts. Your work will involve developing and presenting value proposition assessments and business cases, and partnering with sales and customer success to track value realization for AuditBoard’s largest and most strategic customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients both onsite and remotely to conduct business value assessments of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) across audit operations processes and tools.
  • Value Delivery: Deliver Value Assessments and Value Realization services for select customers/prospects by documenting gap analysis between clients’ current and desired states.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify specific opportunities for improvement by leveraging AuditBoard's capabilities.
  • Assessment Scope: Assessments should include Product ROI and TCO considerations, encompassing:
    • Objective Gathering: Partner with customers/prospects and internal teams (AE/SE/CSM) to understand strategic initiatives and their impact on functional areas.
    • Strategy Development: Define areas of impact and specify the technology, personnel, and conversational experiences required to maximize impact.
    • Performance Analysis: Translate strategy into a forecast of measurable return on investment and total cost of ownership, specifying value drivers and their distinct business impact.
  • Client Analysis: Utilize in-depth business, technical, and financial analyses to understand the client's baseline and future capabilities. Align client strategic business and technical objectives with the required capabilities provided by AuditBoard.
  • Value Evangelism: Evangelize the value stories and outcomes AuditBoard drives for clients.
  • Asset Development: Help develop assets for the entire organization to support effective solution selling, in partnership with sales enablement, product marketing, sales, onboarding, customer success, and account management teams.
  • Messaging Crafting: Assist with developing value messaging for targeted opportunities and validate that messaging aligns with customer value themes (in partnership with product marketing management).
  • Scalability: Craft reusable assets to scale the team's reach across the greater AuditBoard organization.
  • Team Evolution: Play an active role in the evolution of AuditBoard’s Business Value Architect team and methodology. Team members are expected to take a hands-on role in continuous improvement.
