Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree or higher in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, along with a strong working knowledge of statistical methods for clinical studies. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a biostatistician is required, preferably in the biomarker, medical device, or biotech/biopharma industry. Proficiency in R for statistical programming, simulation, and reproducible research workflows is essential, as is demonstrated ability to communicate statistical concepts effectively to non-statistical audiences. Experience drafting and reviewing statistical sections of clinical study protocols, analysis plans, and regulatory documents is also necessary. Familiarity with AI and machine learning methods, a strong publication record, and experience with regulatory and reimbursement submissions are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Biostatistician will provide statistical and scientific leadership across clinical and translational studies, guiding product development from data acquisition and study design to validation, regulatory submissions, and post-market evidence generation. This role involves collaborating with R&D teams on model development strategies, ensuring scientific rigor and product credibility through robust statistical methodology. Responsibilities include guiding the development and review of statistical content for various documents, driving data governance and validation practices, and representing Biostatistics in cross-functional and external collaborations by communicating complex statistical concepts to diverse audiences.
