Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale the code powering the Transifex SaaS platform.
• Collaboratively develop, integrate, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and enhance localization workflows.
• Write well-structured, maintainable, and highly performing code.
• Design and implement distributed systems utilizing a microservices architecture.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot in production environments.
• Work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to define and implement product requirements.
• Write code adhering to internal standards for best practices in high-scale web applications and ensure high quality through code reviews.

Requirements

• Location: Candidates must be based within GMT and GMT+4 time zones.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a proven strong background in a related field.
• Experience: At least 8 years of work experience in the IT sector.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills, particularly written.
• Technical Skills:
  • Passion and experience with performance and scalability of web applications.
  • Solid knowledge of database systems.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with design patterns and code architecture.
  • Strong programming abilities, preferably in Python.
  • Experience with Django.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and system tests.
• Environment: Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
