Located in Spain (or UK, Sweden, Germany for remote role)
Experience with large-scale, high-performance distributed systems
Ability to work on efficiency, resilience, and reliability in production systems
Comfortable with writing and reviewing PRs and design documents
Experience guiding automated release rollouts
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

Responsibilities

Take an active role in influencing the roadmap and your own career objectives
Work with the team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve
Drive projects from initial idea all the way to operations once in customers' hands
Embrace open-source culture and contribute to other projects outside team scope
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning reliability, performance, and availability
Participate in team's follow-the-sun on-call rotations
Collaborate with another engineer on larger projects while driving performance and reliability improvements
Maintain the open source Grafana Mimir OSS project and operate Grafana Cloud Metrics across major cloud providers (Ingest or Query sub-squad)
