[Remote] Senior Applied AI Engineer at TRM Labs

The role requires advanced programming expertise in Python and SQL with strong system design skills, deep experience deploying machine learning/deep learning models in production (LLM/GenAI strongly preferred), strong foundation in experimentation frameworks, evaluation metrics, and ML Ops practices, and proven ability to own critical systems end-to-end and collaborate effectively.

The team is globally distributed, but all members must have at least 4 hours of overlap with PST business hours, with most team overlap between 7am-12pm PST for meetings and collaboration.

The AI Engineering team operates with high collaboration and interdependence, fostering an inclusive culture with diverse personalities, valuing results-driven and sociable individuals with strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

The team has two on-calls: Analytics on-call requiring focus only during working time (average <1 hour a day every month), and Data Science on-call for a full week to ensure pipelines run smoothly (average 1-2 hours a day every 3 months).

Strong candidates will have advanced Python/SQL skills, production ML/LLM deployment experience, expertise in experimentation and MLOps, and the ability to own systems while collaborating cross-functionally, with a sociable, leadership-oriented mindset.
