Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus five years of related experience. Experience with SAST testing, DAST testing, mobile penetration testing, designing security features, S-SDLC, open-source software, lifecycle management, vulnerability management tools, WebRTC, video and audio streaming, video codecs, and cryptography is required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Application Security Engineer will lead and perform security assessments for RingCentral products, handle internal and external security requests and reports, maintain key security tools and inspect scan results. They will drive adoption of security and privacy aware SDLC discipline, identify gaps in security architecture, enforce security guardrails, lead security risk assessments, partner with application security testing teams, provide vulnerability remediation design and solutions, and collaborate with Cloud platform and product architecture teams to embed security standards.
