Requirements

  • 5+ years of application security experience with a strong development or coding background
  • Direct experience with code analysis products (SAST, DAST, IAST, etc.)
  • Proven experience working with development, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure secure best practices are followed
  • Direct experience using tools to exploit vulnerabilities
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and automation frameworks
  • Experience in building automated workflows and scripting
  • Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures with comprehensive documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and utilize critical thinking skills, with a strong aptitude for learning new concepts and problem-solving as challenges arise

Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, and implement IAS’ security framework and application protections
  • Develop security standards and best practices for the R&D organization, and recommend security enhancements to management as needed
  • Develop strategies to respond to and recover from security vulnerabilities and incidents
  • Build automations to streamline repetitive tasks and processes
  • Educate the workforce on the fundamentals of application security through training and security awareness programs
  • Pursue security training and certifications
  • Evaluate and recommend additional tools to enhance our application security posture
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure a secure DevOps release cycle
