Requirements

  • Experience in Post-Trade Processing, Clearing Operations and/or Collateral Management
  • Relevant work experience in Clearing, Back or Middle Office, Risk Management in a Financial institution or a Fintech software company
  • Good understanding of financial products in general with specific focus on Exchange Traded Derivatives (Futures and Options)
  • Knowledge of end-to-end ETD Clearing operations processing, including Trade Give Up/Take Up/Allocation and Matching, Average Price trade, Block Trade allocation, Initial Margin calculation for various margin methodologies, Variation Margin calculation, Client and Reg Reporting, Corporate Action and Trade Lifecycle (Exercise and Assignment, Expiry process), Liquidation methodology (P&S)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of the Clearing Platform
  • Work as part of the Operations Clearing Product Team and closely with Engineering and QA Teams
  • Interact with clients and other market participants to gather requirements within the FinTech industry
  • Drive projects and task execution for central initiatives across the Nasdaq Calypso Market Technology portfolio of Software Products and Software Services
  • Enhance software solutions as per current evolving market requirements and standards
  • Interact and connect with various CCPs and clients to enhance the solution and maintain existing functionalities
  • Deliver enhancements and support rearchitecture of enterprise products and features to existing and new software paradigms
  • Perform crucial Product management activities and internal customer interaction
  • Work closely with Developer, QA, Product Support, and User guide documentation teams to present requirements and maintain updated user guides
  • Articulate and document requirements with mockup designs wherever required to present to Developers and QA for implementation of new/existing CCP and client requirements on clearing products and functions
  • Gather requirements, test features/functionalities, and business testing packages
  • Work with various teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to Market Infrastructure Operators and New Markets
