Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field and have 7 years of work experience in cybersecurity or IT administration roles. A basic understanding of computer security concepts including Identity & Access Management, Network Security, and Application Security is necessary. Prior Incident Management experience and familiarity with security tools and frameworks like SIEM, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners are required. Experience with Attack Surface Management, including Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence Analysis and Mitigation, and Executive and Domain Monitoring is also needed. Experience with Penetration testing and Security Automation platforms and technologies is a plus, as are relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
The Senior Analyst - Cyber Defence Center will assist in 24x7 Cyber Security Intrusion Monitoring and Event/Incident Response, performing day-to-day security functions and investigations, including advanced analysis of threat intelligence and system security posture. They will manage and oversee systems to protect data from unauthorized access, create and implement policies and procedures for security violations, and evaluate security systems for enhancements. Responsibilities include gathering metrics and KPIs, performing real-time alert monitoring, responding to ticket management queues, and providing Incident Response support. The role involves analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, responding to software and hardware vulnerabilities, leading cyber threat intelligence design and execution, penetration tests, phishing exercises, and security audits. Reviewing threat intelligence sources, supporting security awareness training programs, performing routine SOC compliance operations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry are also key duties. Additionally, the analyst will help create automation use cases, participate in security projects, and review and comply with company policies and regulations.
