Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline with at least 5 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. They should have 5+ years of experience developing Python-based applications, proficiency with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy, and familiarity with API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. A strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is required, along with familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Candidates also need 3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, and 2+ years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) in application development. Experience with Git and software development best practices is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior AI Engineer will explore and implement generative AI technologies using LLMs and other generative models to create innovative solutions. They will build and maintain robust APIs for Retrieval-Augmented Generation and generative AI agents, and design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets. Responsibilities include assisting the data science team with traditional machine learning model development and deployment, collaborating with data scientists to translate model requirements into scalable engineering solutions, and monitoring the performance and reliability of deployed APIs, models, and data pipelines. The role also involves staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
