Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required, along with a strong understanding of US GAAP. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
The Senior Accountant will lead the monthly close activities for capital assets and prepare month-end journal entries and adjustments with appropriate documentation. They will analyze accounting data to determine proper recording of transactions and prepare month-end capital asset reconciliations. The role involves assisting in financial statement preparation, managing year-end audit requests, and documenting month-end close procedures. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will work closely with the FP&A group to ensure accurate reporting and perform ad-hoc management-related requests and analysis.
