Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with experience administering remote access tools
  • Strong knowledge of remote access tools such as TeamViewer, VPNs, and other remote access technologies
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
  • Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO, CISA) and their impact on remote access security (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and secure remote access tools, including TeamViewer, RDP, and other remote access technologies
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures for remote access systems
  • Monitor remote access systems to detect and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits of remote access tools to identify and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of remote access security measures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users of remote access tools
  • Stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies in remote access
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the status of remote access security to senior management
