Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or an equivalent foreign degree; they should have at least three years of experience in job-related occupations, specifically in Detection Engineering with SIEM engineering, data engineering, SIEM administration, and Analytics; a minimum of three years of experience managing data pipelines utilizing Apache Kafka, AsyncMQ, and ensuring pipeline scalability is required; three years of experience operating Linux-based systems and managing infrastructure including servers and network devices are also necessary; and three years of experience with Apache Foundation technologies are essential.

Responsibilities

The Security Engineer will implement, enhance, and manage security tools and technologies to protect Zoom’s IT assets, detect security incidents, and respond and recover swiftly; they will document security tools and systems, train Security Operations staff, and support the SecOps team in their security mission; the role involves developing and publishing metrics and dashboards to demonstrate security posture and event activity; and system administration tasks related to security tool platform maintenance on Linux systems will be performed.
