Requirements
- Proven track record in single-cell biology
- Expertise in single-cell genomics workflows
- Experience with molecular biology techniques including assay design, cell manipulation, RNA/DNA isolation, PCR/qPCR, NGS library construction, high-dimensional flow cytometry, and sequencing
- Post-PhD level scientist
- Demonstrated technical expertise and leadership ability (for candidates interested in building and leading a small team of one to two research associates)
- Ability to excel at the intersection of technological innovation, complex biology, and computational analysis

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a high-throughput adaptation of scGRO-seq (single-cell nascent RNA sequencing method)
- Design, optimize, and scale high-throughput single-cell/nuclei extraction, barcoding, and library preparation workflows for scGRO-seq
- Integrate scGRO-seq with perturbation-based assays, including CRISPR-based enhancer perturbation, drug treatments, and multi-omics profiling
- Execute advanced molecular biology techniques including assay design, cell manipulation, RNA/DNA isolation, PCR/qPCR, NGS library construction, high-dimensional flow cytometry, and sequencing
- Adapt and validate protocols in patient biopsies and 3D organoid models
- Direct experimental execution, coordinate large-scale data acquisition, and collaborate on downstream analyses with computational biologists
- For qualified candidates: Build and lead a small team (one to two research associates) to implement the assay, conduct perturbation experiments, and oversee data generation
- Generate datasets that drive transformative insights into immune regulation and advance enhancer-guided precision genomic medicine
