Requirements
- British National who has lived consecutively in the UK for the last 5 years (SC level Security clearable mandatory; no dual nationals)
- Strong knowledge in SAP configuration and understanding of business process in Production Planning (PP) / Asset Management
- Proven background/experience of SAP Production Planning (PP)
- Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office
- Strong personal and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
- Manage own workload to meet business requirements and timescales
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to change focus quickly based on changing prioritisation
- Desirable Skills
- SAP Certified, or a willingness to commit to a learning journey
Responsibilities
- Advise and support customers as SAP SME for Production Planning (PP), including knowledge of SAP configuration and PP business processes
- Act as 3rd line support to resolve incidents and problems
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, internal & external customers to deliver great customer service
- Gather and analyse requirements, define, validate and design solutions
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, working with teams to detail SAP Configuration, ABAP changes, Security requirements
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
- Establish implementation/cutover plans and educate for ongoing support
- Identify innovation initiatives and improvements for customers and internal processes
- Provide 3rd level incident support, problem analysis and resolution, and deliver SAP enhancements
