Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field with a strong ERP background
5+ years of experience within discrete industry in the described area of responsibilities, preferably in automotive industry
Strong knowledge of configuration/customizing at named processes with focus on SAP MM
Experience to work in a SAP support role and communicate well with global/regional IT teams, internal customers and suppliers
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
Results oriented with problem solving and analytical skills
Be an active part in a multi-national team
Good communication and presentation skills in English (both written and oral)
Nice to have: Additional knowledge in SAP modules outside core scope (e.g. PP, SD, WM, QM, PM, FICO)
Nice to have: Knowledge of ABAP debugging
Nice to have: Exposure to ITIL and/or other structured service management methodologies
Nice to have: Comfortable facilitating workshops with small and large groups
Responsibilities
Independently handle and resolve inquiries from national and international users related to the SAP MM module, referring to ‘Demand to Supply’ process (DTS) as well as ‘Procure to Pay’ (PTP)
Analyze customer requirements and incident reports
Within L2 support scope, configure and customize SAP MM solutions based on business needs
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless support, reflecting IT organization and responsibilities
Be up to date on solution directions by BorgWarner architecture as well as design team and advise the customers accordingly
Document and test processes and functionalities
Continually look for ways to drive best practice processes and procedures, maximizing customer value
Translate non-technical requirements into technical business requirements
Manage day-to-day workload activity coming from different sources in form of incidents, requests and project tasks
Collaborate with internal and external IT colleagues as well as with business users
