Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Development/Configuration
- Hands-on experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce development tools
- Deep expertise in Salesforce development, administration, and solution architecture
- Strong sales and operations acumen
- Experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
- Knowledge of integration with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools
- Familiarity with data migrations, data quality improvement, security/sharing models
- Experience with version control, deployment processes, sandbox refresh, and release activities
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, gather requirements, estimate work, and deliver features
- Proficiency in code reviews, unit tests, test coverage, and documentation
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enhancements, customizations, and integrations within the Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components, etc.)
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce functionalities: troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, implement improvements for performance and user experience
- Build declarative solutions where appropriate (Flows, Survey builder, validation rules) and complement with programmatic solutions for more complex requirements
- Work across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) to support business processes
- Collaborate with other IT/system teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools
- Support data migrations, data quality improvement, and ensure security/sharing model integrity
- Participate in version control, deployment processes, and support release activities (e.g., sandbox refresh, tokens, environment setup)
- Work with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, estimate work (user stories/tasks), and deliver features in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance best practices (unit tests, test coverage, documentation)
- Communicate challenges and impediments effectively, escalate when needed, and suggest process improvements
- Contribute to technical documentation (feature/component lists, design notes) and assist in knowledge transfer within the team
- Take ownership of user stories from development through production deployment and support; monitor performance and propose optimizations
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, development patterns, and emerging features; propose opportunities to adopt new capabilities and improve the platform
- Operate within established governance, development standards, and release management practices, and help refine them
- Provide enterprise-level architectural guidance, system optimization strategies, integration support, and lead adoption of advanced features including AI and automation capabilities
