Requirements

Highly skilled accountant with experience in the preparation and review of Financial Statements in a fast paced multinational environment
Experience ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, Companies Act and other regulatory obligations
Ability to monitor changes in accounting standards across jurisdictions and ensure implementation of best practices
Ability to lead and co-ordinate activities of multiple stakeholders within agreed timelines
Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and quickly establish credibility with and influence diverse audiences
Ability to contribute to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish a continuous improvement culture
Ability to interact successfully with internal and external auditors and support quarter-end, interim and year-end audits

Responsibilities

Preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple entities within a fast paced multinational environment
Contributing to the continued development and expansion of the centralized financial statement function
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, Companies Act and other regulatory obligations
Monitor changes in accounting standards across jurisdictions and ensure implementation of best practices
Lead and co-ordinate activities of multiple stakeholders within agreed timelines
Development of strong relationships with key stakeholders
Contribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
Interacts successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits
