You will perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance for robotic manufacturing cells, respond to alarms or escalations remotely or on-site, provide on-site production support and training, use CMMS tools to log activities, coordinate with vendors, and maintain safety compliance.
The role involves both remote monitoring and on-site field service, including responding to escalations on-site and providing production support at customer locations across food, packaging, CPG, and logistics environments.
You will use CMMS tools like MaintainX for logging activities, monitor systems remotely via Formic dashboards such as Grafana, and work hands-on with robotic equipment from OEMs like Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, and Universal Robots.
The Production Optimization team is deeply technical and customer-facing, responsible for delivering uptime, performance, and insight across Formic's nationwide fleet of robotic systems, at the intersection of automation engineering, field service, and business impact.
Strong candidates have hands-on experience with robotic systems from OEMs like Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, and Universal Robots, skills in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, using monitoring tools like Grafana and CMMS, and providing customer-facing support while ensuring safety compliance.
