Requirements

  • Some coursework or experience with electromagnetics, signal processing algorithms, wave propagation, electrical circuits and systems
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB or Python
  • Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing
  • Ability to write test and control software for complex and varied systems
  • Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment
  • Working knowledge of RF components, communication systems, and/or radar systems (plus)
  • Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, and customers
  • Ability to operate complex electronic equipment
  • Ability to perform detailed analyses of electronic RF circuits
  • Ability to prepare written and oral presentations
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Willingness to travel and work in a team of highly skilled engineers on complex projects
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Coursework in signals and systems, circuits, and electromagnetics (specialized coursework in radar, communications, and/or antennas is a plus)
  • U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet export control compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team developing the next generation of RF systems
  • Work closely with scientists and engineers to provide support in developing state-of-the-art hardware and algorithms for communication, radar, and sensing applications
