Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF design and development
  • Experience with basic RF concepts such as impedance matching, smith charts, power handling metrics (IP3, IMD, Harmonic Distortion, Phase Noise), microwave network analysis
  • Familiarity with one or more of the mainstream RF circuit simulation tools: AWR MWO, Keysight ADS, Genesys
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer

Responsibilities

  • Design of advanced RF/Microwave front ends and transceivers in support of next generation products including phased arrays, transmitters, and receivers
  • Mastery and expertise of RF/Microwave components such as matching networks, filter synthesis, LNAs, Mixers, VGA, PLL/Synthesizers, and VCOs
  • Design, schematic capture, and PCB layout of RF/Microwave transceivers and High-Speed circuits
  • Utilize best practice and strategies to minimize and troubleshoot EMI/RFI issues
  • Perform design validation testing of prototype and production designs with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and etc
  • Contribute to various aspects of the integration of the RF/Microwave designs into aircraft and other systems
  • Analyze in-the-field operational RF/Microwave performance data of units and investigate methods to improve performance and debug issues
  • Contribute to development of embedded software
