Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF design and development
- Experience with basic RF concepts such as impedance matching, smith charts, power handling metrics (IP3, IMD, Harmonic Distortion, Phase Noise), microwave network analysis
- Familiarity with one or more of the mainstream RF circuit simulation tools: AWR MWO, Keysight ADS, Genesys
- Familiarity with Altium Designer
Responsibilities
- Design of advanced RF/Microwave front ends and transceivers in support of next generation products including phased arrays, transmitters, and receivers
- Mastery and expertise of RF/Microwave components such as matching networks, filter synthesis, LNAs, Mixers, VGA, PLL/Synthesizers, and VCOs
- Design, schematic capture, and PCB layout of RF/Microwave transceivers and High-Speed circuits
- Utilize best practice and strategies to minimize and troubleshoot EMI/RFI issues
- Perform design validation testing of prototype and production designs with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and etc
- Contribute to various aspects of the integration of the RF/Microwave designs into aircraft and other systems
- Analyze in-the-field operational RF/Microwave performance data of units and investigate methods to improve performance and debug issues
- Contribute to development of embedded software
