Requirements

  • Conduct all business according to company policies, procedures, and relevant laws (Fair Housing Act, ADA, FCRA, etc.)
  • Fully implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Conduct weekly and monthly property audits
  • Assist with delinquency and in-house collections efforts
  • Assist onsite teams with small balance reminders
  • Maintain accurate resident records and update Portfolio Collections Specialist weekly
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of deposit accounting
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of closeout, including mid-month pre-close review
  • Prepare notices (late rent letters, notices to cure/surrender, return payment)
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly dispossessory and eviction filings
  • Coordinate with onsite team on move-out and dispossessory unit walk-throughs

Responsibilities

  • Assist multiple communities with bookkeeping duties
  • Accurately report deposits, vacancies, and income/delinquent balances
  • Manage all current and past resident communication regarding delinquency, deposit accounting, and dispossessory proceedings
  • Report to the Senior Portfolio Director
  • Receive directives from the Regional Director or Corporate Support Team when assisting specific properties
